I. Name and Objects of the Society.
1. The Society shall be called the "Permanent Equitable
Building and Investment Society of Wellington."
Name of Society.
Its objects are—
(1.) | To afford facilities to its members for the safe and Objects of the Society. |
(2.) | To assist its members by advances, to purchase freehold properties in localities of their own selection, either in town or country. |
(3.) | To enable persons possessed of land to erect buildings thereon. |
(4.) | To grant loans on the security of freehold or approved leasehold properties. |
(5.) | To grant loans to members on the security of their shares. |
(6.) | To receive moneys on deposit upon terms agreed. |
