Denis Garrett

Denis Garrett

Denny in a part-timer and in doing M.A. in psychology. He in a past editor of Cappicade, and he also edited Salient during the latter half of 1949 and throughout 1950. His policy in this latter position was characteristic of him in that he was and in deeply concerned that our university should remain true to its page break nature by being a place where the opinions of all sorts and conditions of men should be able to be expressed and criticised without fear or restriction. All who attend varsity debates will know Denny for his convincing sincerity and his dry wit. However, he in not a man of words only, but has been actively helping student co-operation and relief through his work on the I.S.S. committee.

In short, he in a person who fully merits your support.

Nominator: Unce Robinson.
