Lance Robinson

Lance, a science graduate, in a part-timer, and was for four years a Weir resident and on the committee. A past member of the Executive (1949). he did not accept nomination last year.

A member of the S.C.M. Executive, he has also been on the I.S.S. Committee for some years, and in actively interested in the Debating. Socialist and Tennis Clubs.

Lance maintains that the end never justifies the means, and although he would like' to see happy relationships between college and city strongly opposes any suggestion that this justifies any limitation of expression of opinion in the University.

Concerned about the new student building, and in one of the permanent student representatives on the Council subcommittee and believes that self interest and fees should not come before the building fund. Edited the handbook, filled post of returning officer; delegate with Frank Curtin. Youth for Peace Conference; 1950.
