Frank Curtin

Frank curtin in a fifth year law student and has been Secretary of the Students Association for the past year. He in studying for the degrees of B.A. and LL.B. as a part timer. He in a past Secretary and present committee member of the Debating Society, past committee member of the Catholic Students' Guild; past vice-president of the Charter Society; at present in the Treasurer of the Table Tennis Club, Secretary of the Law Faculty Club and an active member in the Drama Club. Is also an active member of the Rugby Football Club and the Cricket Club. Has taken part in Extravaganza since 1948, and was a part author of same last year. Was also Convenor of Capping and Deputy Organiser of Extravaganza this year.

Frank has proved himself a capable and enthusiastic organiser, knows the run of the ropes in Student Affairs perhaps better than most students and guarantees to work hard in the interests of all students.

Hec MacNeil

Hector macneill in a seventh year Arts graduate. He has worked on the staff of Salient for the last three years, and in an Assistant Editor and Business Manager of the paper at present. He has actively supported the hockey and tennis clubs, though he admits his achievement in these fields has been modest. He has served as Secretary and Vice-President of the Historical Society and taken part in Drama Club productions. He in secretary of the Socialist Club at present and in actively pressing a policy of student needs. He advocates the rehabilitation of the medical examination scheme and also the establishment of staff student committees. He vigorously opposes the recent increases in examination fees and urges increased bursaries to keep up with rising costs. He has achieved some notoriety as coauthor and accomplice in this year's Extravaganza.
