Catering

Let me start the first comment of the year by thanking those of you who sent cards to thank us for last year's efforts. I know we didn't please all of the people all of the time, but we realise that is impossible in this business. Anyway, we did try and it's really nice to be thanked - thank you!!

This year maybe we will please more of you because we've made some alterations to the food service. The advert says it all so please read it.

We are expecting The Sunflower Seed Restaurant to be very popular and we are putting a lot of effort into its development, which will occur during the first month or two as new dishes are added to the menu.

The new Burger Bar on the top floor replaces the old Coffee Bar. This may not please some of you but we think you'll enjoy the burgers if you try them.

The Cafe will serve much the same as last year except that we will be providing more plated meals and fewer hot snacks. Chips will be served on the top floor only, unless they are part of a meal.

The Shop will be developed into an Ice Cream Parlour shortly - in the meantime we'll serve cone ice cream and a few other items. Novelty ice cream will not be available - it's much too expensive for you now.

I have only one request to make and it relates to the Cafe. We are not going to employ someone to clear up the mess left on tables. Frankly we can't afford it. We have provided lots of rubbish containers and I would appreciate it if you would take just a second or two to clear your own rubbish and return your plastic cups. The tables will be wiped clean by a member of my staff who will be employed on a part time basis only.
