Special Screening!

Do you like thrillers? The challenge of sorting out who dunnit, the cunning ploys of villians and the even more cunning counterploys of the brilliant sleuths, the thrill of the chase..Do you hate thrillers? Incredibly silly people getting into incredible situations, smart arses who deserve everything that's coming to them and more...

Either way, you could love Murder by Death. All you need is a sense of humour and a taste for the spoof. For this film is a send-up of all the great detectives of stage and screen (but mostly cheap paperback). And that's only the half of it. The film is really an excuse for some of the world's best actors (well, I said some) to impersonate second rate hams to their hearts' content. That means, with the likes of Peter Sellers, David Niven, Maggie Smith, Alec Guiness, Elsa Lanchester, Peter Falk, James Coco and Truman Capote, that the film is one long exercise in finely tuned coarse acting (the funniest kind.) All admirably written by comedy maestro, Neil Simon.

Note: the proceeds from this film will go to the Friends of Thailand organisation.
