Winter Tournament

I hear no-one knows anything about Winter Tournament — apologies for my slackness in this area. Winter Tournament is from 20 August to 25 August, the second week of the August holidays. This year's Tournament will be held at Otago University.

The Sports competing are as follows:
  • Association Football (M & W)
  • Badminton
  • Basketball (M & W)
  • Billiards
  • Harriers
  • Golf
  • Hockey (M&W)
  • Rugby League
  • Rifles
  • Squash
  • Table Tennis
  • Netball
  • Car
We hope Victoria will be competing in all these events. Transport has been arranged along two lines. For those of us who are less financial the Itinerary reads like this:
Saturday19th Depart Wellington — Ferry 6.40pm. Depart Picton — Bus 10.00pm
Sunday20th Arrive Dunedin 12 noon
Friday24th Depart Dunedin — Bus 8.00am Depart Picton — Ferry 10.40pm
Saturday25th Arrive Wellington 2.00am
Total cost$37.00

If this sounds too long or too cheap you can fly and it will cost you $73.00 return. For those wishing to fly, we have only a limited number of seats so could you please let me have your money for this as soon as possible.

Monday20th 3.30 — 6.00pm Sportsmans Bar 8.00 — 1.00am Hop
Tuesday21st Lunchtime "The Golden (Chunder) Mile 3.30 — 6.00pm Sportsmans Bar Sports Dinner
Wednesday22nd 4 — 6pm Drinking Horn 8.00 — 1.00am Hop
Thursday23rd 3.30 — 6.00pm Sportsmans Bar 8 — 1am The Tournament Ball
Friday24th Rest and Recover
