Tomlinson's speech was quiet but he left the audience in no doubt about two things. Firstly, Victoria University simply cannot sustain the level of cuts already imposed on it and likely to come in the future. Secondly, it is vitally important that everything possible is done by all involved to oppose further restrictions. Each group would have its own ways of doing this.
