The Creation, and the Fall of Lucifer is from the great medieval York cycle of forty-eight mystery plays. These plays span the entire cosmos and all history, from The Creation to The Last Judgement in a drama of extraordinary power and beauty. This production by Drama Studies is of the first play from the cycle and deals principally with the fall of Lucifer, often thought of as a type of the fall of Man and of the tragic hero.
