National Issue

There will be no Salient next week. Not as you are used to it anyway. Instead we are bringing you a national student issue, produced jointly by every university student paper in the country (except Caclin at Lincoln College.)

This is to be the first of three such issues throughout the year, each devoted to a particular subject. Next week it is the Arts, next term Education and in the third term Politics.

Salient will retain its identity within the issue. Like every other paper we have a set number of pages alloted to us. Some of these will be used for regular features and important news, the rest for articles on the Arts in Wellington.
