Scented lady beside me
attacks my senses
like a soft red carpet, of the Arabian flying variety
crudely
without introduction
tassles
streaming about my nostrils
drops
overwhelmingly
over
my head
her head[gap — ]stares
ahead
slaps
my hand
kills
my smile
Dead.

This mind
is a dangerous
set of wings
and hypocrisy
hurts
when it sings.
