As part of our attempt to encourage debate on the issues of the Middle East, Palestine, Zionism, and Israel we print here a series of statements from Zionist and Palestinian leaders. The quotes were submitted by Sue Green, and the source is "Their words and ours Palestinian Resistance vs Zionist Colonialism", published by the PLO Office from Beirut.
Palestinians:
"Our aim is to set an end to the concept of the Jewish Zionist state, the racist expansionist state. Our aim is to destroy this state and this conception, but not the people. We want a democratic Palestinian state. We will not expel any person who wants to live in this state as a loyal Palestinian, whether he is a Christian, Moslem or Jew".
