Jim's Gym

The ski slope is an excellent way to experience the skiing sensation without going near the mountain. If you have never skiied then by using the Gym slope you can learn the basic skills in the warmth and comfort of the Gym before heading out to the icy slopes on the Gym Ski Trip in August. Skiis, boots and poles are provided for the lessons and the Gym have a hire system for those who wish to get their first taste of the snow this year.

The lessons are on.......

  • Monday 1-2 & 5-6.
  • Tuesday 1-2.
  • Wednesday 5-6.
  • Friday 1-2.

And to ensure that you are ski-fit' come to the ski fitness class Thursday 5-6.

The social/intramural basketball competition (not to mention the netball) starts again this week on Thursday and Tuesday respectively. If you would like 20 minutes of guaranteed activity with no commitment to coming every week, then come and see someone at the gym on or before the day in question.

With Midyear Exams Approaching .... alleviate those tense minds with a half-hour of activity in the Gym. Come and have a chat with Hugh or Diana to find the most efficient way of doing this.

Or the Beginners Squash Classes are on again on Mondays from 2-4. They are filling up fast so get in quickly. They are Half an Hour long and we supply the racquets.
