On Sporting Contact: I don't oppose sporting contact with South Africa for two reasons, firstly because I don't think politics should become involved with sport, and secondly because whether it goes or not it won't change much anyway.

On Sporting Contact: I think the NSRFU is being particularly irresponsible. What they are intending to do will label New Zealand racist and will result in world condemnation. There are humanitarian reasons against the tour - I think it is atrocious to play sport with a racially selected 'representative' team.

On Hart: I support Hart and all other anti-apartheid groups.

On Sporting Contact: No Comment

On Hart: If Hart asked me to do something for them I would not, because for me the issue has no meaning. Any opinion I had on this matter would merely be second hand.
