— Students in Australia : A Review

Australia and Malaysia are reviewing the policy of sending Malaysian students to study in Australia, Australian Foreign Minister, Senator Willesee said today. The review was not because of the alleged 'hate-Malaysia' campaign among the students there, he said, but because it would save Malaysia a lot of money. 'There is no hate Malaysia' campaign in Australia', he emphasized. The Australian Govt., he said, was now more interested in bringing its technical know-how to Malaysia through such agencies as Colombo Plan. 'Colombo Plan was set up to help developing countries by bringing technology from developed to developing countries', he said.
