Mr Graham Searle, one of Britain's leading conservationists who has just spent 'year in New Zealand studying the environmental impact of the proposed utilization of the South Island's beech forests.
Mr Searle has written a book on the Beech Forest Utilization Scheme entitled "Death to Destruction". This will be launched at a special function in Wellington being organized by A.H. and A.W. Reed, Publishers, on the 13th March. Mr Searle will give a lecture with slides and question period at the Concert Chamber. Wellington Town Halt, at 8.15 p.m.
