Salient Notes

Salient Notes

Another torrid week for the Salient workers, i.e. students. What with election forums, and having to decide to vote Hooper or Hooper, the pressure was almost too much. Paranoically peering out the door lest the red peril poured in, only to find out that the red peril was us all along! Too much! Then of course there was the general wage order — no joy for students in that, what! Have to put us all on cost of living bursaries. Come out in your thousands next week, servile masses arise, arise! It'll be good to see the great layers and segments of students mobilising again.

Stirring this week in the Salient propaganda factory were: Ahfo Wong, Richard Best, Margot Bourke, Gordon Campbell, Graeme Collins, David Cunningham, Mark Derby, Colin Feslier, Peter Franks, Grub, Austin Guise, Christine Haggart, Stephen Hall. John Henderson, Paul Jackman, Kaye X. Allison Mackay, Patrick O'Hagan, Marty Pilott, Bruce Robinson, David Rutherford, Graeme Simpson, Brendan Smith, Claire Smith, David Waghorn, Lloyd Weeber, Audrey Young.

The editor is Roger Steele who is still waiting for Big Norm to ring.
