Student Anti-Imperialist Front?

Well actually we got a bit carried away when we changed out name from Student Anti War Movement. We are a loose organisation comprised of people who have been, and still are concerned about the Indo-China War, American bases in New Zealand, international monopoly capital, and other concrete forms of imperialism.

We believe that in order to change any social condition we must study society as it actually exists, therefore we are not slavish adherents of any "from the sky" (or Trotskyists) ideology, but students of society who genuinely wish to practice social change.

Most members of the Anti Imperialist Front are also supporters of H.A.R.T. and The Paper Co-operative. We welcome the efforts of The Paper Co-operative as the beginning of a creative analysis of New Zealand society.
