Where are you from?

Where are you from?

Dear ignorant Malaysian students,

I do sympathise with Malaysian High Commissioner, Jack De Silva in his point of view.

As long as Jack is the representative of Malaysia, he has responsibility for looking after you (Malaysian students in NZ) and has the right to advise you not to be subverted by the foreign powers.

It's beyond imagination why most of you are not tolerant of Jack's statement.

As far as I am concerned, the only fault he committed was choosing the academic sanctuary to make a speech which involved political problems and led to controversy.

Even if the Vice Chancellor and other people besides you confuted Jack, you didn't have to refute him. Are you not Malaysians coming to live in the paradise freedom of NZ?

You have to remind yourselves as Malaysians whether your ancestors come from other countries or not, and you know your Government's policy very well which is anti-communism.

If all of you are against your government then where does your beautiful country have to go?

Now, check your passports, don't spit on your face, don't be chauvinists and behave yourselves.

Yours sincerely

K.O.R.
