Lincoln College will remain dissassociated from the International Commission of NZUSA as long as its policy differs from other universities, said Lincoln President-elect, Mr John Hayes.
Proposals drawn up by Lincoln for restructure of the commission were "completely ignored" by other constitutents said the vice-president, Mr Roger Payne.
"The other delegates were not prepared to debate the submissions because they were basically jealous of the favourable reception Lincoln had received from the community for its realistic stand taken at Easier Council," Mr Payne said.
But he affirmed that Lincoln would remain in NZUSA.
