This was another sport where Victoria put up a lamentable performance, finishing last behind Auckland, Canterbury and Otago.

Victoria was crushed by Otago 11-1 and by Canterbury 11-1, but did manage to draw with Auckland 6-6.

Otago members A. McGeorge and R. Fris won the lightweight and open weight divisions respectively, both by clear-cut margins.

The final points were Otago (1) 28 pts, Canterbury (2) 23pts Auckland (3) 13pts, Victoria last 8pts.
