From The Gym

From The Gym

During Term 3, students are invited to come along to the gym to play badminton, table tennis, volleyball, indoor bowls and basketball at the special times set aside for these particular sports.

This is an ideal opportunity to play your favourite game and get away from your books for any time from one hour to four hours. Especially if you visit the gym only once or twice a week, this system of "blocking off" certain times in the gym should suit you!

It allows plenty of time and opportunity to play for as long as you like, without fear of interruption by some other activity that may normally take place in the gym simultaneously.

Be In The Swim . . . A New Venture

A bus will depart at 1 p.m. Friday, September 13, from the Easterfield Building for the Freyberg Pool. It will return at 2 p.m.. when another bus will depart and return at 3 p.m. Cost for transport and swim is only 20 cents.

Buses have also been organised for Friday 20 and Friday 27. If this scheme is successful, buses will be organised on other days of the week.

Take advantage of this regular opportunity to swim!
