[Peter Rosier elected President of NZUSA 1969]

Peter Rosier, a law student from Canterbury, who was elected President of NZUSA for 1969 at NZUSA Winter Council. As all other potential candidates had decided against standing by the time nominations closed, Peter was elected unopposed. He has graduated LL.B. and is presently studying for his LL.M. and tutoring in Law. It was resolved at Council that the President's salary be raised from $1800 and $300 expenses to $2500 and $300 expenses from next year. Bruce Robertson, of Otago, was elected to the vacant Vice-Presidency created by the resignation of Ross McCormick of Auckland.
