An SCM study group dision on "the position of the Maori student" will be held in conjunction with a social evening on Saturday.

"This is an opportunity for New Zealand and overseas students to make friendships and get to know each other's ideas and problems," said Peter Travler, a spokesman for the SCM.

The discussion, which is expected to last two hours, will begin at 5.30 in the Tennis Pavilion.

Dinner will be provided and at the social afterwards there will be supper.

Everyone was welcome at what promises to be an enjoyable and fruitful evening, Peter said.
