Nsusa may aquire its eighth constituent Association. At the annual meeting of the Association at Massey University in May the Executive was instructed to investigate the possibility of membership of Nsusa. Nzusa President John McGrath suggested that the Extra Mural Association, which has more than 1500 members, should attend Nzusa Councils for a year before finally deciding on Nzusa membership.
