Accountancy

We require a person with a minimum qualification up to Accountancy Stage II, to assume responsibility for the financial and secretarial records of our subsidiary companies.

This position has become available because of rapid expansion and the successful applicant is assured of an interesting position, with a wide variety of duties and responsibilities. Applicants should preferably be in 25-40 age group and must have the capability to assume the complete responsibility for the presentation of Annual Accounts with a minimum of supervision.

An excellent commencing salary, in accordance with past experience will be paid, a subsidised superannuation scheme is in operation and staff buying privileges are available on a wide range of goods.

Our offices are modern and situated in Wingate, Lower Hutt.

Accounting Trainee

Branch Accountant

If you intend making a career of accountancy in the commercial field you could not do better than to "start with us. We are one of New Zealand's leading sales and marketing organisations and we wish to appoint a young man 20 to 25 years of age to undertake accounting duties in our Wellington Branch.

After an initial settling in period he will be appointed Branch Accountant and will have full charge of all Branch affairs under the guidance of the Company Secretary.

The position would suit a partly qualified young man and the usual allowance would be made for study time off. Starting salary will be generous and a staff superannuation scheme is available after a qualifying period.

The Company has been approved by the New Zealand Society of Accountants for practical experience.

Accountant

We invite applications from fully or partly qualified accountants to take up duties at the Head Office of a leading Television Rental Company.

Duties are varied and interesting, and the person appointed would be directly responsible to the Company Secretary for the preparation of monthly profit and loss statements, and final accounts. He would also be responsible for the direction and supervision of a small accounting staff.

An attractive salary is offered and the successful applicant would be eligible to join the Company's non-contributory superannuation scheme after a qualifying period.
