Apology

In Salient 8, under the heading "Thurbage," reference was made to an editorial in the Evening Post which was said to be written by Mr. G. R. David.

In fact, the editorial which was criticised was not written by Mr. David.

Salient accepts Mr. David's assurance that he has not, in the course of his employment with the Evening Post, ever written an editorial.

A full apology is now made to Mr. David for linking his name to the editorial referred to in the "Thurbage" article.
