This year, for the first time, speeches made at the NZUSA Congress in January will be available in printed form. "We are printing the full text of the speeches," the organiser of the production, Tony Haas, told Salient. "The cost of the booklet will be very modest—five shillings in fact—and they will be available very shortly. Speakers at the conference included many prominent and stimulating persons—including Dr. Michael Bassett from Auckland, Dr. Walter Metcalf from Canterbury, Mr. J. Shallcrass from Wellington, and many others."

From advance proofs of the booklet it would seem that it will rapidly become an important item in every New Zealander's reference library.
