Cherry Pointon

Cherry is a part-time accountancy and B.Comm. student. Since coming to Victoria she has shown interest in extra-curricular activities and willingness to take her share of the many and various jobs that have to be done to make the Clubs work.

The S.C.M. has remained her chief interest, and she was this year both Supervisor and Treasurer of the S.C.M. Bookstall. Her sporting interests are Hockey (Committee member 1955-56, Club Captain 1957; a former "A" team captain, Cherry has also been a Wellington Senior A representative); Tennis (Committee member 1956-1957 and 1957-58 seasons); and Athletics (Committee 1956-1957 and 1957-1958 seasons) for which she has been awarded a Victoria Blue.

Cherry has served on the Executive for the past year.
