Bpt in our present peaceful condition we cannot forget that in [unclear: the] jail at Carabanchel there are 44 [unclear: new] political prisoners, most of [unclear: then] students. We ask all students not [unclear: to] forget them. Their fight is the [unclear: fight] of all the Spanish people; they [unclear: are] not alone. The miners of Asturias the workers of Catalonia and the Basque country, and the students [unclear: of] Zaragoza, Madrid and Barcelona have all attested to this by their recent strikes. We have left [unclear: behind] us a people struggling to break [unclear: their] bonds, and one day we shall return to them.
