Miniature Rifles

Four members of the team have shot previously in tournaments, and the fifth, a newcomer to the sport, is capable of returning good scores when on form. The team misses Brian Bradburn who will now be shooting for Auckland; and Jim Mansell, who has been shooting well for VUC in inter-club matches, but is unable to make the trip.

Ysabel Corkill: Representing VUC for the third time; has been shooting [unclear: consistently] well this season; gained third place in both Wellington and Wairarapa Championships recently. In Wellington team this season.

Bryden Williamson: Has a large number of possibles to his credit this season. Selected for NZU team last year, and has represented Wellington this season.

Dick Patston: Another Wellington representative, and is shooting for VUC for the second time.

Walter Iles: Representing VUC for the third time; will not let NZUSA interfere with his shooting this year, and should do well.

Nick Turner: Has been shooting for less than a year, but turned in good scores this season so far. A little inconsistent, but with concentrated practice should be an asset to the team.
