Badminton

Badminton

The badminton team this year is almost the same as that which won the event in 1954. It is as follows (provisions):

Men: Jim Thomson, Graeme Russell. Larry O'Neill and Richard (Ted) Schroder.
Women: Louise Grieg, Joan McIntyre, Pauline Woods and Helen Wilkinson.

Three members of the team have so far represented Wellington this season, Mr. Russell and Misses Grieg and McIntyre, while ail the other players have been hitting the ball well and have been in strict training in order to achieve some semblance of fitness for the trip South.
