T. H. Beaglehole

[unclear: Tim] is a full-time student studying History for his M.A. During his years at V.U.C. his interests in student activities have been wide. He has been two years on the Exec., the last part of which he has been Vice-President He has a sound knowledge of the affairs of the Association and of N.Z.U.S.A. He has been a V.U.C. delegate to the last two Council meetings of N.Z.U.S.A. and is at present corresponding member. During the past year he has been one of the Exec, representatives on the Building Planning Committee and was on the sub-committee which drew up the latest report on facilities required in the Students' Union Building. He was on the sub-committee which negotiated successfully with the City Council over procession. He was V.U.C. representative on the steering committees of the last two Congresses and helped organise Congress '53.

This year Tim is vice-captain of the Harrier Club and of the Swords Club (having been Secretary of the Swords Club for two years) and President of the Historical Society. He has represented Victoria at Easter and Winter Tournaments in athletics, harriers and fencing, and last year was awarded V.U.C. Blues in "harriers and fencing.
