Ski Club A.G.M

Ski Club A.G.M.

The V.U.C. Ski Club is possibly the most active club in the college. The big scheme at the moment is the raising of money for a proposed hut on Mount Ruapehu. £110 is needed before building can start. Money is needed smartly. A raffle is to be run, there will be social evenings, and a showing of the film "Scott of the Antarctic" is to be arranged for later during the year.

Activities during the year include a trip next weekend and one for the weekend of July 16 and 19. There is a combined evening of all Wellington ski clubs in the Savage Club Hall on June 24.

The officers elected at this year's A.G.M. are the following:—Patron. Bonk Scotney; president, Prof. Gordon: vice-president. Roy McKenzic: chairman, Bernle O'Shea; secretan'. Pamela Beck; treasurer, Margaret Tavlor; committee. John Innes. Paddy Todd, Ian Rich, Diana Fussell, Claude Kalin, Diedre Cotton; club captain. Peter McGill.
