Around the Clubs
During the past week the sporting clubs of Victoria met with more than their usual share of success. Their performances deserve more than the casual interest paid them by members of this college.
The Jubilee Cup came a step closer with the senior fifteen's overwhelming defeat of Old Boys on Saturday.
The Soccer team, keeping up its unbeaten record, qualified for the Chatham Cup by beating Lions, six goals to one.
The hockey team with its liberal sprinkling of N.Z.U. blues improved its position on the senior ladder by clearly outplaying Huia.
The "B" grade table tennis team, although Still not at full strength, proved too strong for Black and White, defeating them by ten games to two.
