Staffs and Students..

Staffs and Students...

Met to gether to hear Mr. Braybrooke, senior lecturer in law, speak on "Roman Law In the Middle Ages'" lost Thursday night. The mealing, sponsored by the History Society was held in the History Department's Seminar room, from a student's point of view, the most pleasant room in the college. A large, light room, with warm terracotta waits, it is situated in the end of Hut No. 2 on the "clay-patch." Curtains, open-bookshelves, framed art reproductions and a good heater make it a reproof to the rest of "the buildings." It is a credit to the initiative of hard work of the history staff and a few students.

Mr. Braybrooke's talk, in the critics' cliche, was "impressively erudite," but remained lucid and interesting. Supper was followed by a highly entertaining discussion. All discriminating students, of any department would find these evenings most enjoyable and stimulating.

The next meeting is on June 26.
