Victoria did get at least one egg this Easter, and that was presented to the Swimming team. At least, something remarkably like "Victoria—0" is claimed to have been seen by several people well before the rendezvous, and the attempts of its participants to "keep out the cold with a little something."

Otago have great cause for congratulation—and we wish to add our congratulations too—for being able to swim in the nasty cold, wet stuff which was all Wellington could provide; but it is to be hoped that they found Wellington hospitality much warmer.
