The world is stricken with poverty;
Like an old hag, a toothless crone;
With skinny fingers worked to bone;
We have scarce recovered from the last war;
And Abyssinia and Spain
Will never see freedom again;
(But Capital pushes all that behind her—
They fight, the vested interests in China.)
