Promising Juniors

Promising Juniors.

A promising junior in the club is Dave Muir. For a first season in open company he is performing well in the middle distance events. More will be heard of him later.

Northey is another junior who is capable of running anything from 220 yards to a mile. He has run with the harriers for a year or so and has built up plenty of stamina. Now he would be advised to concentrate on one or two distances.

Stacey is another Tournament possibility over the 220 and 440 yards hurdles. Tossman, one of last year's 440 yds., hurdlers, is again in the field. Despite leaving his training late he should be ready by Easter.

Finally an appeal is made to all who have any Ideas about track or field events to rally round. The Inter-faculty sports are scheduled for March 18th and the Tournament team will be chosen largely on performances there, but of that, more anon.
