Petitioners pray that the supply of liquor to Maoris shall be prohibited, or, in the alternative, that right be given to Maoris in the Maori electoral districts or Maori Council districts to vote on the question whether or not liquor shall be supplied to Maoris.

I am directed to report that, as a question of policy is involved, the committee has no recommendation to make on these petitions.
