No. 401 (1908).—Petition of Potonga Kaiawha and 45 Others, of Waitotara.

Petitioners pray that the Okotuku Block No. 76, containing some 189 acres, being the home of the petitioners and their ancestors, be permanently vested in the petitioners and their descendants.

I am directed to report that, in the opinion of the Committee, this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry.

No. 401 (1908).—Pitihana a Potonga Kaiawha me etahi atu e wha tekau ma rima, o Waitotara.

E inoi ana ko Okotuku Poraka, Nama 76, tona nui 189 pea eka, i te mea ko te kainga tuturu tera o nga kai-pitihana me o ratou tupuna, me whakatau tuturu atu ki nga kai-pitihana me o ratou uri.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ripoata, ki te whakaaro a te Komiti, me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia uiuia.
