No. 110 (1908).—Petition of William Herbert Guthrie-Smith, of Tutira.

Petitioner prays that, before coming to a decision upon the petition of Native owners of the Tutira Block, means be taken to ascertain from the Native Land Commission the true facts.

I am directed to report that, as an action relative to the above petition is pending in the Supreme Court of New Zealand, the Committee has no recommendation to make.

E inoi ana, penei, i mua o te whakatautanga mo runga i te pitihana a nga tangata Maori no ratou a Tutira Poraka, me whakahaere he tikanga e riro mai ai i te Komihana Whenua Maori nga tuturu korero pono.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ripoata, penei, notemea tera tetahi whakawa e pa ana ki tenei pitihana kei te takoto i roto i te Hupirimi Kooti o Niu Tireni, no reira kaore kau he kupu a te Komiti.
