No. 412 (1907).—Petition of Tawhi Paranihi and 6 Others.

Petitioners pray that the House will order the cancellation of the orders and certificates of title of the Native Land Court in respect of the several subdivisions of the Okahukura Block.

I am directed to report that this petition be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, with a recommendation that remedial legislation be introduced on the lines as suggested by the contending parties (a copy of which is attached hereto).
