No. 590 (1907).—Petition of Tamaiwhakakitea and 39 Others, of Te Oreore, Masterton.

Petitioners pray that Native lands near Masterton be not acquired compulsorily for close settlement.

I am directed to report that the Committee has no recommendation to make on this petition.

No. 590 (1907).—Pitihana a Tamaiwhakakitea me etahi atu e toru tekau ma iwa, o Te Oreore, Mahitaone.

E ioni ana kia kaua nga whenua Maori e tata ana ki Mahitaone e murua hei whakanohoanga pupututanga ki te tangata.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ripoata, kaore kau he kupu a te Komiti mo runga i tenei pitihana.
