No. 576, 1905.—Petition of Harehare Aterea and 26 Others.
Petitioners allege that the trustees of 88 acres near Matata have wrongfully leased the land to certain Europeans, and pray that the same may be restored to them.
I am directed to report that, as the Committee is of opinion that this matter should be dealt with by the law-courts, it has no recommendation to make.

E ki ana kua riihitia hetia e nga kai-tiaki ki etahi Pakeha te 88 eka e tata ana ki Matata, a e inoi ana kia whakahokia atu taua whenua ki a ratou.
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, i te mea ki te whakaaro o te Komiti ma nga Kooti ke o te Ture tenei take e whakawa, na reira kaore kau ana kupu.
