Petitioner, a half-caste, prays for a grant of land as a landless Native.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition should be referred to the Government for consideration when the question of landless Natives is being dealt with.

Ko te kai-pitihana ho hawhe-kaihe, a e inoi ana kia hoatu he whenua mona i te mea he Maori kore whenua ia.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia whiriwhiria a te wa e whakahaerea ai nga mahi mo nga Maori kore whenua.
