No. 931, 1904.—Petition of Manihera Makiwhara and 5 Others.

Petitioners pray for a payment of "tenths" alleged to be due out of the sale of Te Hunua Block, near Wairoa, Auckland.

I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry.

No. 931, 1904.—Pitihana a Manihera Makiwhara ratou ko etahi atu toko-rima.

E inoi ana nga kai-pitihana kia utua ki a ratou nga whakatekau, e ai ki ta ratou, e tika ana kia utua mo te hoko o Te Hunua Poraka, e tata ana ki Wairoa, Akarana.

Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia uiuia.
