Reports of the Native Affairs Committee, 1903.

[No. 398 and 399, 1903.—Petition of Hataraka Temepara and Others.]

No. 398 and 399, 1903.—Petition of Hataraka Temepara and Others.

Petitioners allege that the trustees in Arakihi Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks, Poverty Bay District, are misappropriating the rents derived from the same, and they pray that the land may be vested in all the rightful owners.

I am directed to report that, as the petitioners have a legal remedy open to them, the Committee has no recommendation to make.

6th October, 1903.

[Translation.]
No. 398 me 399, 1903.—Pitihana a Hataraka Temepara me etahi atu.
