Petitioner prays that his claims to the Wharepu No. 1 Block, near Wairoa, Hawke's Bay, may be further investigated.
I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition should be referred to the Government with a view of having legislation introduced to enable a rehearing to be held.

E inoi ana te kai-pitihana kia whakawakia ano ana kereme ki Te Wharepu Nama 1 Poraka, e tata ana ki Te Wairoa, Haaki Pei.
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga he mea kia paahitia he ture kia taea ai he whakawa tuarua.
