Petitioner prays that sufficient land may be granted for support of his hapu, the present holdings being insufficient.
I am directed to report that the Committee recommends that this petition should be referred to the Government for inquiry.

No. 194, 1903.—Pitihana a Te Rupe Horotiu.
E inoi ana te kai-pitihana kia hoatu etahi whenua e rahi ana hei oranga mo ratou ko tona hapu, i te mea kaore e rahi ana nga whenua e nohoia mai nei e ratou.
Kua whakahaua ahau kia ki penei, ki te whakaaro o te Komiti me tuku atu tenei pitihana ki te Kawanatanga kia uiuia.
